Yorkshire Energy World to open its first service stations in Nigeria

Yorkshire Energy World, announces that it will be opening its first service stations in Nigeria in the coming months.

Since Yorkshire Energy World was the successful bidder for two deep water blocks (block 258 and block 295) the process and outcome of the public tender undertaken in 2007 in Abuja, Nigeria, Yorkshire Energy World has been consummated its commitment with the country's development, not only in the area of oil and gas, but through the projects led by YEW Foundation wich involves, among others, the construction of hospitals, centres for the elderly and early childhood education centres, educational programs, social housing schemes

As holder of the assets described, Yorkshire Energy World has cooperated with Nigeria’s State Oil Company, the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), in the "Nigeria-Span", an exploration program wich is considered highly beneficial for obtaining seismic data in Nigerian offshore areas.

After just one year since the creation of its European subsidiary, Yorkshire Energy Geneva, Geneva (Switzerland), YEW announces the company also expects a significant increase in its assets, which would result in a short-term in a stronger consolidation of its strategic position in the country.
